Could be turn out to be a disaster for Sheff today.
Not really. Brambani comes in for Aston. Walker comes in for Taulapapa (been playing 13 recently) and we can switch Duane Straugheir to centre in replacement of Sam Smeaton. That's if all get reprimanded by the RFL.
I look forward to the video! Hope it shows Hock resisting a punch, it will be historic if so. What a great quote about leythers - "empty vessels most sound" love it and how true -
Sucks no highlight of boxing? Still a plenty of forward passess. Astons wrestling throw was very impressive - no kicks to the head though why am I not surprised - empty vessels need to go to spec savers with the ref! "Sending off sufficent!"
We lost by 40 points to London,at Blackool - No dramas:no cards.Lost by 34 points at Bradford - same again. It was 13 v 13.For your victory you used up all your interchanges and for a full time team looked remarkably unfit. You haven't mentioned the off the ball late tackle on Smeaton after he passed the ball for the last try and he was forced to the ground.Unlike Leigh the Sheffield players don't whinge to the referee.
Perhaps with the money saved from paying for a conditioner you should spend the money on red cards,so the players can wave them at the referee and save their energy with the verbals. Trying to get fellow professionals sent off is hardly sportsmanship - a word little understood by anyone associated with your club. Can I take it that Dixon will change from a well disciplined young man to one with attitude, like McNally.
Once again it seems someone goes from serious injury to not so serious.Bit like Barlow after his usual punch up v Halifax,McNally not as injured as first appeared.
You must be going for the sympathy vote.Bit dramatic having an ambulance and paramedic vehicle outside the ground with revolving lights still in operation.
If Hock had been punched he wouldn't have left the field smiling - it was a push as he attempted to play the ball. You must have the same imagination as the 'supporter' who saw Smeaton deliver a forearm smash on McNally.
Yes,we were quiet. We enjoyed our time at Animal Farm and it reinforced our opinion that empty vessels make the most noise.
Please take your quick wit and repartee onto the Warrington forum - they await round 2 with eager anticipation.
We,of course, eagerly await our next trip to your welcoming home. Not!
Watching the replay Sam Smeaton raises his arm in an apology gesture immediately he realizes his mistake.
You my friend are a very silly individual. Your teams approach to the game yesterday was a disgrace. Fev, Fax and now Sheffield cant match us this season so you resort to dirty tactics and blame Leigh. lucky for us the discipline commitee are not that stupid. You have a complete distane for Leigh which is your right, but dont try and defend the undefendable and dont make out that Greg mcNally was faining his injury, read the papers this morning and you will see that a yound lad died playing rugby at the weekend from a head injury, thats why we have ambulances, you should be ashamed of yourself Grow a set , and admit that yesterday Sheffield let themselves down and stop burrying your head in the sand. You remind me of a stupid parent who blames everyone else without seeing any wrong with there own.

I thought we more than matched you at the Keepmoat actually, we just lost our way when QLT threw the ball to Brierley. Yesterday was a different story altogether, although I'd have been confident of our chances if Cory hadn't got sent off.
Apparently this year Sheffield have had 10 referrals and 1 charge, might be more after yesterday. Leigh have had 46 referrals and 10 charges.
There have been 7 championship matches which have led to charges - Bradford v Doncaster, Featherstone v Sheffield, and Batley v Leigh, Leigh v Featherstone, Leigh v Halifax, Leigh v Batley, Leigh v Bradford. Could a pattern be emerging?
Anyone know how we are all doing in the fair play league?

I thought the previous game at the Keepmoat was a very close game, very entertaining only the wild pass which led to Brierleys try in it , but yesterday I think the Mighty Leigh would still have won comfortably even with Aston on the pitch, look forward to our next game though .

I'm not surprised you think that, you did win by 40 points after all. But we lacked creativity and killer instinct when in deep Leigh territory, something Cory would have brought to the table and it'd have taken the pressure off Briggs a bit more. The extra man would have led to more points, and less gaps in our defensive armoury. I look forward to our next game too, I'm sure we won't have to wait long.
