You miss the point Griff , you said that the point system makes no difference to the final league placings, however as I have proved it does. You ask who benefits well as pointed out above, the team that benefitted last year was Hunslet to the point where they would have avoided relegation (notwithstanding the points deduction for Barrow). Why can't you get that?

Where is the tripe in this information? However there may well be tripe in you saying the change in the point system does not benifit anyone, when clearly it does, but guess it's hard for you to admit this?

Though to be fair you didn't include the 3-2-1-0 current system in your quote above though I do believe that is what the discussion has been about.

Yes, I was trying to take it in two stages to illustrate the nuances better.

Step 1 - 2-1-0 to 3-2-1 (or 2000000-1999995-1999990 or whatever) - exactly the same

Step 2 - 3-2-1 to 3-2-1-0 - only 12+ losers miss out.
