Exquisite timing by Mr Powell and his Castleford players,last night,to remind us all that the top side can be beaten by one lower in the league and that the whole can be greater than the sum of their parts.

We have the same referee for this game at Leigh as we had at our last victorious away game - Mr Kear found cause for complaint - and the same referee as we had when we lost earlier against Leigh.
I don't expect Leigh to speed up the GLDO's then,but hope we get a fair few.

Ball security must be paramount,and markers at the PTB and defence will require full concentration.

Confident of victory - before the requirement for a last minute drop goal - and with us being allocated the south stand I reckon we may be the first away supporters to see Leigh Centurions lose from that very vantage point.

Despite me following the sound advice of Gazza - ''I never predict and I never will'' I go for an Eagles victory with the number of points not known till the teams are announced.

Nice reminder to our players that it will be beneficial to get a better result at the LSV than Featherstone do when they arrive to resume their war in a couple of weeks.

Every minute matters.

First game at the LSV for 5 weeks for Leigh and a 'home' debut for Higham.

Quite surprised by the name of James Davey missing while considering Higham and Beswick but will not be surprised that the experts have a cunning plan.

Need to protect the half backs and that looks like a victorious Sheffield Eagles squad to me.

I prefer Langley at prop;should that come about.

I do hope this becomes an 'I was there' occasion.
