Batley v Fax is another matter. Batley have the upper hand over fax BUT, Fax are the big game team and have proved it so often against us. Difficult to call. I sincerely hope Batley win as any team winning the GF would be prefered than fax, - but, I think Fax will win it.

If it's Fax v Fev in the final qualifier if we fail to beat Leigh next thursday, there will be a niggle in everyone's mind....... a niggle at this point I do not want to adress - my blood pressure isn't up to it.

I think Batley vs Fax will be a great game, got a couple of ciders in the fridge and I'm going to enjoy it. I don't think we'll hammer Widnes without one and potentially two of our best players out, but from what everyone's saying this might just be our best opportunity to break our hoodoo against them. I hope Batley win tonight as 1) I can't stand Worrincy, and Barlow's not much better, and 2) I think it's for the best that we eradicate any chance of Fev playing Fax as early as possible. Give it the close season to blow over somewhat rather than play each other in another such high octane game.

Just watched it again, it's not horrendous but it's not a good tackle that's for sure. And I agree about the commentator

Exactly - an aggressive tackle he got wrong endangering the tackled player beyond what is acceptable = ban. And nowt more than that!!!

The punishment is not excessive.
