Get a grip J20, I do sometimes agree with some of your comments, but you miss the point completely.
Halifax was not in the wrong. The agreement was between the player and Sheffield. Halifax even checked with the RFL, who confirmed that it was okay to play him.
Aston played Barlow to play against Sheffield in the nines competition, which strangely enough was in the 2010 season, but spit his dummy out of the pram when he played in the play offs, saying that he can't play against them in the 2010 season.
I think that Halifax did nothing wrong and to avoid any more negative publicity have paid for them to go away.
