I admire the same players as you! In fairness to the choice of selection,it was limited to those Mark Aston has played alongside - so was mainly former Eagles players.

His half time pep talk has worked for the second game in succession and with finishing stronger in both games he seems to recognize a better standard of fitness levels.

Now we just need to hope he can get the players tuned-in for an afternoon k.o. on a Saturday - not something which happened at Blackpool.

That was the most vociferous I have heard our supporters all season.Impressed

Aye - but Shaun and Ellery played with him for GB.

Actually, I've picked a similar team myself and it's not as easy as you think. Choosing from a squad of, effectively, four or five hundred can leave you spoilt for choice.

True haha. He probably wanted to get the team picked, and get it all over and done with!

Would be nice to see some of the younger prospects such as Connor Scott and Greg Burns get some game-time at a League 1 club, maybe Loto Tagaloa too.
