The correct decision. But Halifax have a right to feel harshly treated after Hull just got a slap on the wrists a few years ago.

No, there was no rule in place so throwing Hull out would just have ended in the courts. They put a rule in, Halifax broke it, tough luck.

Plus Halifax would have never been able to afford the fine. They would have accepted disqualification instead.

Matt Calland is back the football director, Martin Hall, has tendered his resignation. Yes we got kicked out of the comp and rightly so as rules are rules. We may still face a massive fine if it's found out the whole thing wasn't just an 'administative error'. The nitty gritty is on the club's website.
