Salford Survive Sheffield Scare - http://wp.me/p3JxPK-zr Magnificent to read all the plaudits from people on social media about our style of play today. The defence may have been non-existent at times but we gave them a good run for their money and we can take confidence into next week from our work in attack. I know the report is only brief but there's only so much I can do when I'm not there. I wasn't just going to stop writing reports after doing one for every match this season.

Full credit to Sheffield today. You played some decent rugby in attack and showed some of our over paid 'stars' how to do it. Your last score must be a strong contender for try of the season at the AJ Bell - just a shame more of your fans weren't there to see it (though respect to the noisy few who were - looked like you were enjoying yourselves). Good luck for the rest of the season and next year.

While I agree,the same could be stated about your fans in showing the appreciation due to a player who has served the sport,in both hemispheres,with such distinction for such a period of time.
While your club seem to have managed to rid itself of the unruly element amongst the supporters there seems a clear lack of confidence on and off the field.
I certainly hope you remain in Super League and start the climb to greater things in 2016.
If the rumours about a certain full back and his flagrant lack of professionalism are true,then maybe a little more belief and support in your owner may be forthcoming from this moment in time.Dr Koukash has a huge task ahead of him
Adrian Morley also has a huge task ahead of him.I wish them well.

Having read it again,this morning,I can only agree with you. Though our errors,penalties,and failure to capitalize on the territory and possession we had in the second half didn't help us.

I can only congratulate Ian Watson.He has been prepared to take on the job in the most difficult circumstances,when his friend and Welsh colleague has left under strange circumstances.

I must confess I wasn't checking for Salford stats.when I first read and posted it.
