I am quite pleased Carvell is not in their squad,and they may play quite an elderly/experienced half back pairing should Sykes and Cooke be together.

I wonder if the Doncaster supporters remain with Halifax fans to watch the game?

Always a difficult time to call the games as it seems some players are either wanting away or have agreed to join other clubs and the choice of coach for Featherstone appears,to me,to be a little strange

I'm hopeful of a convincing win for Sheffield Eagles.

Dont get your hopes up has this ever happened before ? i would say yes probably in most matches for very small periods during interchanges however if they had an unfair extra man advantage when they scored than perhaps they should have some sort of penalty

They had a penalty,2k fine, appealed against it.Also something AC missed was the warning they received from the RFL for the Leigh game which they also appealed against.

Probably the more serious of the two appeals is the appealing against a warning as your undermining the governing body. And they won't take that lightly.

Not just a case of yeah or ney when a club appeals..If you lose the appeal it often carries further penalties.

It happened a couple of years ago - Salford v Castleford.
Salford were fined 10k,I think.They appealed and were then deducted points.

I got the impression following that the points deductions would always be the future punishment;as is the case in Australia.
The Salford incident involved a tackle made near the defending try line.

No worries.To finish 3rd will be a splendid achievement - before it gets better in August and thereafter.

it is rumoured at fev that carvell has left the club, like I say 'rumour' as there's nowt official and to be honest its been a bit of a big white elephant, if he was picked he wouldn't have posed a threat from the little we've seen of him.....as a fev fan living in Donny I would love Donny fans to stop an side with us as obviously fax will side with eagles....as long as its all in good taste I can take that......what makes ya think the choice of coach is strange AC? I didn;t think the timing was good but now its happened I fail to see why its a strange choice? I'm hoping obviously from is an unlikely win for fev but ya never know. does anyone on here use purple vouchers? I have 2 for one voucher for a sheff home game but it says owlerton stadium on back.....can it be use at keepmoat?
