That might be a good plan - sorry I thought you were closer to the man!
Nope, just do the blogs off my own back and I get asked to do a few match reports for the Eagles website time after time. I could get some information from, say the Eagles TV interviews, and from Twitter as I know The Star have a new man on board for Eagles stories. Will add some stuff in for future.
Someone on Facebook said that Jon Molloy couldn't be recalled, don't know whether that's the case or not. The reason I'm bringing this up is because Chris Annakin, interchange back-rower for Wakefield, is sidelined for 8-10 weeks... http://www.wakefieldexpress.co.uk/sport ... -1-7123406

If it's Woods I hope we do the business on them good and proper I remember he always used to run the eagles down when he was a co-compare on premier sports - wold be nice to bite back. Don't think it will be though I recon Colye !
I saw the wakey news too and though that lad did himself a lot of good last weekend - but if he goes we have a bit of strenght in depth and it could be worse it could be against Batley........top of the table!!!!!

Don't know what happened with Woods at Whitehaven. He kept them up and you would've thought that was their target? Weird one that.

Let's hope he carries on the good form at the weekend. Have a feeling Tubbs may give South and Tagaloa a runout each. Remember last year that he played a very young squad up at The Recre.

I didn't see/hear that but because I don't think it will be Dave Woods,to me,and hopefully a number of players in the squad,it will be an added incentive to win the game, convincingly.
IF he did run the Eagles down it may have been deliberate banter with Hendo as they were together at Castleford in 2005 when Cas won promotion.
As a PS I notice the followers of York City Knights, where the players are without training facilities and Stadium, seem to have fallen out with the chairman who they backed when Dave Woods went to court. Seems a female member of York council sussed the chairman out.Just a possibility my favourite assiduous Aussie, and the female member of York council are the only ones to utter the truth HERE
Who'd have thunk it...?
Who knows what goes on behind the scenes at professional sports clubs,eh?

The YCK situation is a peculiar one. The chairman steps down due to breakdown in talks with the council then the coach (James Ford) then puts his hat in the ring to negotiate with the council on behalf of the club. Hopefully they get it sorted as I didn't mind York as an away day.
As for Whitehaven, let's hope James Coyle's first match in permanent charge of Whitehaven ends in defeat!
