I've no idea why the championship 1 league leaders get 50k and the championship get 25k

If both the league leaders won the grand finals the championship club would only be 5k better off than the champ 1 club

The winner of Championship 1 doesn't go into the playoffs. The winners go straight up. So we stand to win £75000 if we were to win the league and playoffs, £25000 more than the top prize in C1.

It is to give the promoted side a better chance to be competative in the league they are being promoted to.

The C1 leaders don't have the chance to earn any prize money in the playoffs though, Charlie. They go straight up.
