In order to give a penalty try the ref must be CERTAIN that the try would have been scored.

As posted elsewhere, the RFL said last year that ball stealing would be a penalty, not a penalty try.

If this is the case then Leahy should have his match fee taken off him and should make a written, public apology. Fair enough everyone makes mistakes but not knowing the rules is an absolute pi$$ take.

The second forward pass was definitely forward, It was right in front of me.

I thought there was nothing wrong with the second one, i was up on the gantry and had a cracking view of it.

First one looked iffy though.
