May I be the first to disagree with that scoreline - Leigh may have scored 3 tries yesterday while Hock was off the field but this game is at the LSV where it is extremely rare for any cards to be shown to Leigh players;except in the opening game this year v Bradford.
It seems like the rugby league world has finally realized how Leigh conduct themselves on and off the field.( Don't suppose they will allow the East Stand to be open so I can enjoy the game without the possibility of my sensitive ears being subjected to any gratuitous obscenities from the Leigh officials? )
I know that Leigh lost at London recently, and at Doncaster last season but when, and to whom, did they last lose in a regular season Championship game at the LSV?
Nice pressure on our players as it would appear,if I may paraphrase that BBC commentator who made the most boring sport sound exciting,' They will be dancing on the streets around the world ' should Sheffield Eagles win at Leigh.
I ain't too bothered myself... But I am brushing up on my terpsichorean talent, just in case.
Dewsbury 24-22 1st September 2013 so currently on a 20 match home regular season winning streak if their website is correct their last 5 matches have been away from the LSV with the last home match 10th May so might get a larger crowd than normal. Please note that they are playing their biggest game for years the following saturday away to Warrington so there may be some temptation to rest a view key players however top stop is still up for grabs i can't see them turning out with too much of a weakened side although we are winning we are not playing that well and it we continue to give away penalties we could end up losing by 30 points or more.
Prediction Leigh 36 Sheffield 12 (Leigh by 24) We have had a great season but we are not good enough to beat leigh at their place, We are 6 points (3 wins) clear with just 6 games left and a home banker next weekend (workington) so we can afford to lose whilst leigh cant if they want the regular season trophy

What scoreline do you think it'll be, AC? I'd like to say we'll give them a fright, and with the League Express reporting Cory Aston and Pat Walker were both fit to play on Saturday, it seems like we're nearly at full-strength.

Your very welcome in the North Stand AC,I wouldn't like to see you missing out on how we do actually conduct ourselves.
I'll let you know nearer the time.Lots of hard work to be done over the next few days.( Very surprised at lack of ad hominems directed at me - Must try harder! )
I was astonished, amazed, gastedflabbered at the quotes of The next head coach for England - as espoused by Yorkshireman Garry Schofield;certainly a Yorkshire bias there,me thinks -
I had seen some coaches say - war of attrition - battle - fight, etc but never use such inflammatory terms.
I couldn't work it out.
Then I got it.Due to the inferiority complex Leigh have for all things Wigan - especially Wigan Warriors - and The next head coach for England visiting the coaching team at WW when they dual-reg'd.I realized it was a quote from the author of a book where Wigan is on the title.
The Road To Wigan Pier.George Orwell.
Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting
It may explain the mindset of The next head coach for England - the great man-manager who appears to have managed Hock to get more cards in a couple of months than he got in a couple of years elsewhere.
If it is to be war unlike the Labour MP for Leigh,Andy Burnham,I have an exit strategy. (Iraq War - not his 2 homes in London )
In the best selling book - Matthew:8-5 mentions a Centurion. Matthew:8- 12 states a weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.
After the war at the LSV on Sunday I would like,on my exit,to hear the Centurions weeping and wailing and gnashing of their teeth so loudly it reaches their friends in west Yorkshire.
Really looking forward to it....Come on you Eagles....Do Not Be Doves of Peace!
