Well done Mark Aston and Tony Tonks. I haven't donated anything yet.I will be doing so but I am more than a little angered that it now appears the governing body and League 13 have not done what I expected following the sudden and tragic deaths of Adam Watene,a Super League player while training in a gym,and Leon Walker,a young player in a reserve game in South Wales
What assistance/screening there is has been organized for Super League players, only,it seems.
The screenings may not guarantee 100% but I do remember when the brother of Gabby Logan died at 15 yrs of age it was suggested the cost of a test which may have saved his life was 50p.( He was gently kicking a football in the back garden )
