If you like Real ales the sheffield Tap is a must,100's to choose from hand pulled to bottles, also has an outside area where you can sit and watch the black cabs go by,If your into the lager theres Scholar on london Road and also the cricketers on the corner of bramall lane is now open again, also the others that Liam has mentioned.
Can definitely vouch for the Sheffield Tap but the beers aren't cheap.
EB - have you been in the Cricketers since it reopened? Just curious what it's like as it's been shut for ages - wasn't Billy Whitehurst the last licencee?
I don't think much of the Railway? - corner of Bramall Lane and Cherry Street.
Away fans may find the beer in the ground expensive but the facilities after the game in the lounges are 1st class.
Big Bad Billy he was a character ,It's been took on by a member of the Portuguese blades branch of supporters who's moved back to England,Not been in but suposodly been done up and theyve got real ales on,I prefer the good old Cricketers were you couldnt see for smoke and had to waft your way through to the bar
The Cricketers on the corner of the john street end,1 minute walk from the ground is now opened,Refurbished,Suposodly nice now and serves Kelham Island ales,Might nip in there,Ideal meeting place before the match,One to look at for next season.
