He will be in hospital before the months out. It's too old for RL. No disrespect to a man who has served Welsh Union with distinction, but he's way out of his league (no pun intended)

You'll have to forgive my RU ignorance, I just don't have much interest in it any more. According to the SKY Sports story he's a fullback, would anybody play him over Youngquest? They're on about offering him a 2 year contract. Are they gonna pay him to stand around at the back and be the occasional battering ram?

I think you could be right - perhaps a few Union people through the gates.

AND all the mentions in the national press etc. - It's all publicity.

You can't knock the bloke for trying. Besides, so what if it is a publicity stunt - a few more bums on seats will fill up the Crusaders coffers to allow them to make some more signings.

Why aren't they signing Gavin Henson?

I wasn't sure if it was him but I've just looked on Wikipedia and he is indeed the chap who has just come out as gay. Does this mean he's the only openly gay player in pro RL?
