 Broncos Bash the Eagles in Blackpool Opener The Championship Summer Bash got underway at Bloomfield Road in Blackpool with the high flying London Broncos up against a Sheffield Eagles side who weren't quite ready to give up all hope of a top four finish and the middle eights. The kick-off was delayed by thirty minutes after the Eagles team coach got stuck in traffic, but by kick-off there was already a jamboree atmosphere fuelled by the crowd having just witnessed Keighley beat York in the iPro Sport Cup Final.
