As most will know there was a last ditch attempt to save DVS, but that bid has tonight failed and will definitely be demolished

I think most knew it was a long shot to say the least the council have been hell bent on getting rid of it

I'll be sad to see it go for sentimental reasons iv'e grown up watching the eagles there but with a move to Owlerton (fingers crossed) we may start to build a better fan base, attercliffe has never been a crowd puller

Here's to the future but at the same time RIP Don Valley thanks for the memories

The only shambolic thing was their plans, it was scribbled on the back of a fag packet.

they took Richard Caborn's advice then
