After those first 30 minutes we should be sat here raving about a massive win, but the second half performance was awful. I've seldom seen such a lack of discipline from an Eagles team. Even though Hunslet scored 22 unanswered points, make no mistake, they were poor, and were there for the taking. They only scored those points from us piggy backing them down the field with stupid penalties, at one point they had five consecutive sets on our line, we thoroughly deserved to have a man sent to the sin bin. I think a few players might have cost themselves a day off next weekend with their display in the second half.

However, a win is a win, we're 6/6 and are top of the league. Let's hope that second half performance was a blip and we put it right on Saturday, and more importantly next Thursday against Halifax.

Most people predicted around a 20 point win and it was close to that.

Prehaps it will be a wake up call - play like that against Fax and they'll stuff us

The same Halifax that beat London Skolars and York on the last play of the game?

They're even more inconsistent than us, it could either be a brilliant game or a really scrappy one, think we'll do them at home though.

That was probably the best half and worst half from the Eagles i've seen since I began watching in 2010...

No disrespect to the likes of Hunslet & Swinton but if we are letting 22 points against them then the likes of Fax and Fev will score alot more. We can attack, there is no question about that but we have come up against weak defences..

We will score less against the bigger teams and if our defence doesn't get better we will ship more points and sooner or later we will lose a game..

Halifax will be the big test, we have a great squad with excellent depth and are capable, if we work hard enough, to beat any team in this division. Time to show it.
