The Eagles Twitter and Facebook page will now be updated on a regular basis with lots of new features! The twitter page has gained over a 100 new followers since Sunday afternoon and will be tweeting live updates from every game this season. If your on twitter go to www.twitter.com/sheffieldeagles and help the club get to 500 followers by the start of the season! The club has also launched a brand new Facebook page today. This new page is packed with new feature such as Eagles TV, Eagles Twitter which are updated automatically along with the photos and events tabs too! Go to www.facebook.com/OfficialSheffieldEaglesRLFC and click the like button at the top of the page! Any feedback and comments will be greatly appreciated.

Echo what ESO says - well done Liam.

All you need to do now is write an Iphone/Ipad app but can you do the Android one first. No rush, end of the week will do.

I've updated quite a few Wikipedia pages and I even created one for one of our players who didn't have one.

Social media is just another method of getting info across but it's a very fast and efficient way of distributing info and getting feedback.

I'm guessing that there are still lots of people (dinosaurs ) who don't have Twitter, Facebook or even Email etc so it's important to catch these. I guess that's down to the club to put information into the match programme and encourage people to buy one.

The club needs to do more by gathering info on supporters and using it wisely for it to be of any use subjct to their agreement of course.
