As much as the first few games have been poor and slightly worrying,I was looking at the current squad and we arnt far off having a very competetive play-off side once again,All depending off course on certain issues,Will kyle wood be a yo-yo back and forth to Huddersfield,when will Misi and QT arrive,Add those three permanently to our squad and its an all new different team,The forwards are fine Howieson,Hendo,Stringer,Rowe,Hepworth,Green,Szostak,Mcdonald and Hirst are a match for any team in this divison,The problems are the backs,If we have Wood and Brown permanently at half back i would say that is a good enough combo,The problem at the moment is that Wood doesnt know whether hes coming or going forcing us to use Dane at stand off,If QT was here he can play stand off and losing Wood now and again wouldnt be such a blow,Misi at full back,Menzie and Cording/QT in the centres and with Bergin on the wing isnt bad,I think we need another winger and would say Thackeray is better option than Mills,the problem with the players that arnt here yet is that on reputation and past performances theyll probably be the best 3 players we have and there all impact players,Take three impact players out of any team in this league and they would struggle,They also have versatility and can solve problems if others are injuried by slipping into positions instead of the current performers who arnt upto the job,all in all i feel when these players arrive or stay for long enough we should easily pushing the top 6 places again,the problem is off course when are the buggers going to turn up,Anymore injuries we are buggered but hopfully with iminent arrival our early season wobble will be put to bed and forgot about,Would be a great boost to see Misi and QT make there debuts against Widnes but dont count on it,Are we that lucky
