Bring in the Frenhc players is all very well, is there where there money is going to go? Some of the players have given up a lot to play for skolars - i know of one player that lost his job, just so that he could go training and play. if he doesnt get selected to play - the doesn't get paid... it is hard to find jobs that will give you time off and give you the support these days.
not all the players live within easy reach or have ease of access to the training ground. same with getting to new river.
Jermaine is trying hard, but he does not have the experience as a coach at this level to inspire the on pitch performance.
The game v rochdale at the weekend - you could hear the rochdale players talking to each other - skolars were so quiet. there were a couple of the rochdale coaches in the stand giving instruction to those on the touch-line...the communication was brilliant....the orders where being given out constently. I have observed this a number of times with other teams. Also our lads need beefing up....not just size but attitude.
I worry for the team going up to Blackpool this weekend....they are going to be shattered having to travel up on Saturday morning after training Friday night.....I wish them good luck and might see them up there......
