I don't see where you are going with your Clinton and Tansey debate. We have had many SOO players play for us over the years and not all of them are the be end of all. Tansey didn't leave the NRL because he couldn't hack it (far from it infact) just that he preferred to be in the UK.

Tansey isn't a natrual full back, he's more of a stand off. Hull may be playing him at full back but it doesn't make him it his best postion. I'm sure this has been done to death over on the Hull board!
Ok he didn't like the NRL but he should have stuck it out till the end of the season. Nobody likes a quitter.

Are you aware that what is consider an natural full back these days is dramatically different to what was a natural full back 5 years ago ?

Most full backs are considering an extra play maker these days and that is exactley what Tansey is. He's got 9 try asissts to his name from the full back position....seems to be doing the job for me.

Attacking full back still need to be able to defend. Missed tackle for Dyers try, very vey poor tackling technique on Schifcofske. How often does Tansey pass the ball, another one with sticky fingers?

Tansey sticky fingers? Jordan is our most creative player apart from longy and has created and scored some cracking tries this year although he is prone to the odd clanger id have him over your full back any day of the week.

What about Houghton? Seems creative enough and he's not afraid to pass the ball.
