He's from Normanton, he hasn't got a disliking for Cas at all same as Bentham hasn't got a dislike for Wakey though some of our fans think he has.

Well cas have never had a 50/50 decision given by thaler coincidence maybe.....

Adam and Ben are cousins, not Brothers. As a junior Adam played and came from Normy.
Ben was a Cas fan as a youth, but I'll reserve judgement on whether he's a professional or not. At a funeral earlier this year, he was with some of his mates and rugby came into the conversation. Rather stupidly I thought, Ben spoke of his admiration for Cas and a deep loathing he had for Featherstone. Regardless of any affiliation he has towards any club, such behaviour is NOT what I would expect from a "professional" referee within our sport.
Adam was a great prospect as a youth and won virtually everything he could at junior level, and did indeed sign for Cas (and Fev), but was unable to shift up a gear when offered an opportunity in the pro game.
