I like the way everyone is having a dig at us on this thread (HFC) although I think I'm right in saying that we have actually taken the most fans down there this season? Wigan also took a lot I believe.
It's not a matter of how many fans you brought along to us, we're talking about hositility form Hull FC!

Also, I think you'll find that the highest attendance was St Helens :P

Well St Helens is a much more attractive fixture to attend for locals, so I'm not surpsied the attendance was higher for your match against them. I recall one of your fans saying on our board, that we took a lot more than saints, but whatever, either way my point is that when you take a large crowd away from home, you would expect there to be a few trouble makers in there, it's the same with every team. It just so happens that whenever people are given even the slightest chance to criticise our fans, they do, and it's blown way our of proportion. However should it be any other teams fans causing trouble, it would just go down as 'every club has it's idiots' and forgotten about.

Hi everyone, I am the safety officer at the Crusaders, and would like to say it has been great welcoming all fans to our ground this year. The atmosphere and banter has been great. Yes there has been a few little incidents to sort, but that should not detract from the behaviour and fun both sets of supporters have had, at EVERY game. Our regular die hard supporters are welcoming and friendly, however some of the New curious spectators have also had to be dealt with. Putting it politely, whilst we need and welcome new Crusader fans, we won't tolerate the small minority who might spoil the day for Home or Away fans. Going back to the point of the thread - I must say "without sitting on the fence" there is a common thread with all supporters visiting us, that is you have all been very very passionate about your team, you all seem to love the banter on the terrace, you all like a good pint or two, but from a safety and stewarding point of view, we welcome you and treat you with respect and you all make an effort to have a crack with us too! It has been good fun having you all down - and thank you to all visiting fans who have made the long trek down, I sincerely hope you all come back.

Having stood in the HJ surrounded by 2000 wire fans and stood next to a load yesterday, must say what a great bunch of fans and hope to see you next year.

Good banter between all the fans and the locals made us very welcome. Special thanks to the guys who steered us to go to the Old Castle for proper beer ( draught Bass top notch ), where we had more friendly conversation with some local rugby fans, and then to the nearby Ashoka Indian restaurant which was extremely good and where, eventually, Kevin Ellis himself arrived for a late dinner.

Look forward to returning next year.

The Wire fans were sound and contributed greatly to a paltry attendance. Sorry about the lack of response to your chants. I won't go into that for fear of poking Crucrucru into life again. Not the best of games. Too hot and humid to be playing at the top of ones game perhaps. But despite some AWFUL reffing the right team won and those of you guys that could find crusaders fans to talk to seemed pretty sound.
