Good at playing dead! Did it the other week after the tansey tackle and again last night.

Hope this footballing trait doesn't come into our game

Thats right, blame Clinton for Tansey's poor tackle.
Clintons children were mascots at todays game. Do you really think he would " play dead " with his wife and children watching?

Maybe. Or maybe the impact did wind him enough to keep him down. Benefit of the doubt on that one. The mistake, however, was the referee's. He should have stopped the game much sooner than he did and had Schifcofske dealt with.

Regardless of whether he was playing a bit tactically at that moment, he is a damn fine player and the Crusaders missed him once he had left the field.

I dont doubt he's a good player but it's the second time in as many weeks he has done it.. And last week it was fairly obviously put on as he jumped up after the penalty was awarded.. This week dying swan again you have a genuine concern for the guy and he's only got a stinger on the shoulder!

Have you ever been winded?
Tom Briscoe is a fantastic rugby player but he could win an Academey Award for getting a penalty at the play the ball. You did ask about football traits in our game.

Yeah right I'm sure you do. I think Tansey need's to improve his tackling technique but I won't be holding my breath.

I think I can be sure that he would not have been taken off for a 'stinger on the shoulder'. He was clearly injured; so much so, he couldn't play any longer. Whether his injury justified him lying on the floor for so long no-one is ever likely to know but that he was significantly injured is beyond doubt as he left the field and didn't return.

You're getting nervous a bit early aren't you mate? Go have a walk around your plastic chairs (not the ones in the garden the ones in your ground) and chill out, we don't play you for two weeks yet.
