The only home gate that the amount of fans they took to Huddersfield would be one at Quins. There is another agument against expansion for you.

Terrible news this. I think looking at the bigger picture these types of problems are a big thing in all British sport and it needs to be sorted.

As for Welsh rugby league, what rubbish timing. A big high qualifying for the 4N followed by more off season woe for Crusaders. I'm all for expansion but if Crusaders do go under and are replaced by "Welsh Crusaders" then they will have to leave SL.

Then we will see if the owners are willing to build the club up in the championship. It could be a good thing or a bad thing. They could look to build the club up in Wrexham, get rid of the foriegn players and hope that South Wales can get promoted giving them derby. Or they could wallow in their own self pity and give up on the whole venture.

The RFL need to follow their own rules on this one. If they don't there should be an outcry and we should all bomabard them and remind them of their own rules.

Well, daft comment - I suppose you could indeed script it! I said it 3 years ago it would end this way - it just took 12 months longer than I anticipated. But a winding up order means jack nowadays. Take the hit, -9 points, finish bottom of the pile and start again - if you can!!
I had my doubts then about the viability of Crusaders early inclusion in SL. I felt very strongly at the time it was wrong. Time will tell whether the club can survive this as a viable business/rugby club. I remain sceptical. Either way, attracting and paying for players from down under may prove more difficult if the admin process goes forward. We'll see.

The winding up order has been dismissed by HMRC, although it still goes to court it will be dismissed a soon as it starts.

If a club gets the boat next season i am sure they will be looking at taking the governing body to court. I hope Ralph Rimmer in his new oppointed job has the sense to judge this and other clubs accordingly.

Will they? Having signed a contract saying they will not take legal action.

And the club going down think they can force all the other SL clubs to play them via the courts. Nonsense.
