Seems like crusaders fans rate jordan james.Well i hope he becomes a revelation and stays with widnes for the season.Gannon,davies,james,houghton and kavanagh is a great lot of prop forwards at our level in the championship.Hope we can join you in superleague in 2012.Be a derby game for you.

Looking forward to 2012's "Sold Out" Super League Derby with Widnes. Make sure you look after JJ, he always gives 100%

I know some widnes fans felt bitter losing out on a licence.But i admit i was one of them,as i miss the derbies against warrington,wigan and saints.Glad it is working in north wales as i do think expansion is good,but not to the detremental of the heartland clubs.I do have confidence much more next time around,with the new owners at widnes.Anyway we now have 4 derby games if get in mate.In the championship we only have leigh who bring a decent crowd.If we get in be nice see you bring a good following to widnes and vice versa.

What criteria are you using to determine "derby" games these days? I've just checked multimap and Salford is 8 miles nearer to Widnes than Wrexham so if you're basing it purely on distance then surely Widnes v Salford is a derby .

But will Salford be in SL in 2012 the franchises are being looked at from July this year for qualifying criteria. There will be a few clubs that are getting worried just now.

They most certainly will be. Work on the ground is finally underway (clearance) the team are starting to buck their ideas up, we are financially stable and bar the crowd issue we have every reason to be confident. As much as I hope Widnes are added to the comp they can't expect to be shunted in because they have higher crowds than Salford and they had a decent team 20 years ago.

Regarding Jordan James, I hope he does well at Widnes. I think he's one of those props that would be fantastic at Championship level but no more than a squad player at a lower SL club. I remember Malc trying to pick a fight with him a couple of years ago back at The Willows. Fair play to him for having a go but JJ is built like a brick sh*thouse and if I was a betting man I know who I'd have had my money on!!!
