Ah well an easy mistake to make really as i said my welsh is not good and pretty much extends to being able to buy a round of beers! Which is more than can be said for most English people. I have no problem with being English lets face it there isn't much piont there is nothin I can do about it now.

Aberystwyth is nice enough I admit, if a little backwards for my tastes (and I now live in BRIDGEND!)
Given its a university town, ONE screen cinema that until very recently still banned The Life Of Brian, NO nightclubs, and a forest full of doped up hippies living in Benders is not really indicative of a progressive town.

I think it would benefit from some decent transportlinks with the rest of Wales (not just the retired English Businessman interloper enclaves) and a more outward looking world view.

You DO realise that it's only significant entry in The Lonely Planet Giude To Britain is "a 45 minute bog stop". We both know it's more than that, but it needs to join the 21st century.

I'v noticed that - If any of the home nations are playing foreign teams, I always want them to win, but as soon as England play, then the inferiority complex rears its ugly head in a barrage of celtic abuse and much spittle.

The Scots are the worst for it, but really build a bridge and get over it, you'll spend a lot less time being dissapointed.
