Kevin Walters: An Apology
Over the course of the season, I and other posters on this forum may, through issuing statements such as:
'Walters doesn't have a clue'
'You're having a laugh Kevin you moron' and
'Shane Perry, honestly what are you on?'
...in some way, have given the impression that we did not rate highly the coaching abilities of Mr Walters. It could have been interpreted by some that we did not agree with his selections, his tactical decisions, and, most of all, the acquisition of Shane Perry.
In light of recent events, I feel minded to point out that this could not be further from the truth. We now accept that Kevin is a truly excellent coach, a worthy successor to Michael Potter and clearly the man to guide the Dragons forward in the next stage of their development as a Super League side.
I hope this clears up any unfortunate confusion that may have occurred.
