looks like good squad but i thought you could only have 25 in the squad

explain how some of your younger players have been playing with squad numbers of 28 and 29!

you can only have have 20 on 25k a year or more, as far as i know you can have as many as you want, so long as you keep within the sallary cap!

but please prove me wrong!

Yes you can only have 25 in your first team squad which i believe covers the salary cap. You can then have some players in your youth / academy set up and i think get to spend an extra £50,000 on them. you can only replace someone in your sl squad with approval of RFL but you cannot break the salary cap if they are included. Check out the SL link http://www.superleague.co.uk/page.php?id=346 well then, i'm pretty certain that without a major injury crisis that the majority of numbers 27 onwards won't get much if any game time so we don't need to worry about it!

Well that explains things at Leigh then back in 2005

We used all the way up to 37 players , surelly we must have broken our salary cap
