Community Lions Plan Test Preparation

Great Britain Community Lions Manager Jimmy Aspinall has confirmed that the side’s preparation for the home Test Match with France in March will include trial games against Dewsbury Rams and Leigh Centurions reserve sides.

The game against Dewsbury, on Wednesday 17 February, will be played at the Rams Stadium, whilst a venue for the Leigh clash on 24 February has yet to be confirmed.

The games will act as an important part of the build up to the forthcoming Test Match against France A at New Craven Park, home of Engage Super League side Hull KR, on Wednesday 17 March.

Head Coach Jimmy Taylor has named a train-on squad ahead of the games, whilst the squad will also be put through their paces at two training sessions next month, with Hopwood Hall, Rochdale, acting as base.
