if you ask me its a easy way out of the big games they have under 18s that could step up (SV took 18s up saddleworth i beleive) it annoys me when 2/3 weeks ago they were title contenders then all of a sudden they cant be bothered. is it a case of boys not evolving into men, or cowards cant be bothered travelling.
Any team that hadn't already played Moss Bank 18s was awarded the points 2 weeks ago because they had failed to fullfil fixtures S.V 18's got 4 points from it. Off to see what the groundsman has to say about our pitch now I'm not holding my breath !!!
Spring View v Woolston is OFF due to waterlogged pitch groundsman has called all home games off this weekend And wht happens the sun comes out why coudn't it do that yesterday
Think the rule for division 3 regarding forfeited fixtures is 3, however Glazebury missed 4 games the other year and stayed in division 3 although they folded a few weeks before the season started. Bloody lovely day in Barrow so our game against Haresfinch would have stood a good chance of being on if Ron Girvin had allowed us to wait till this morning to make a decision.
west bank 24-0 saddleworth 1st team. top result from us, very tough game in bit of a boggy pitch. saddleworth tried to bully but got outclassed by a better side. top of the conference my booty. . shame SV and woolston got postponed but think it could do SV a favour a free week to recover.
I take it there were a few 1st teamers in there then?....expected as much.
When your on a roll, your on a role.
Looks like we could be in a league without, west bank, woolston and Moss Bank next season. Would like to see Dalton pip Woolston to it to be honest, if only to save us another trip up cumbria next season
