I along with a few Riversiders players turned out for Orrell today, let's hope we can at least help keep them playing until the end of the season.[/quote]

Well done Hogan, unlucky with the result.

What was up with the ref Milly?
The last try was no try granted, but how many high shots did your lads get away with
Same for both sides, I'd say the better side won, but the score definetly flattered you, we made some bad decisions with ball in hand, but hey ho, all the best for your promotion charge

PS Where was Wez Lawton today :?:

West bank 86-0 adlington top win from us and would of been 100 if the ref hadn't of blown 15 mins early. Brilliant result though

You really think he was okay? You got away with a fair few indiscretions yourselves, he was poor and ruined what should have been a good game. It became all about him, rules were incidental and just ruined his fun.

Wez got what he wanted from us and returned to Bank Quay, so he was probably at Loushers Lane playing Ashton.

Really pleased with our efforts yesterday, brilliant defence against a great side in HFH. League position doesn't do them justice they are definetely one of the best teams we've played this year and to concede only 10 (should have been 4 ) taking into account the amount of possession they had was a massive achievement.
I do agree with Milly tho, the ref made the game all about him, both teams just wanted to play rugby and he stopped that on numerous occasions. I think his lack of control also made the game boil over once or twice. All in all a good day at the office.

The decision to only sin bin your lad for a blatant punch when our lad was on the floor was quite simply a disgrace. If the ref sees the punch, which he obviously did, how then can he only sin bin the lad? Is my understadning of the rules wrong here? If it is i apologise in advance.
