If it was us we d have got fined. Because of this coach firm very unhappy and looks like they wont be doing the trip to Fax next Sunday.

Well your fears that they wouldn't be doing a bus because of the incident appears to have waned, as does the fears that the price would go up because of it!
Moreover, the coach company appear to be happy to reccommend the job to their mates! So at least there doesn't appear to be a lasting impact for
Leigh supporters as you first thought might happen.

Little scroats are bloody everywhere. he coach company will lose out unless they have a fully comp insurance policy to cover loss of income due to the unforseen circumstances of the coach being out of action.

I can't see any culprit being ultimately brought to task which is frustrating.

Just to clear things......I didnt say 'that makes it ok' so wind ya neck in.....just like in all walks of life, the idea would be to identify the culprit and deal with him....fev lions dont teach kids to break windows so I would have thought they would be embarrassed by this and would want to catch the culprit themselves...the directors unhappy?...statement of the obvious dont ya think?...as for the RFL, theres not a lot they can do about it either

The RFL can fine your club for not having adequate security outside the ground......Leigh got a fine ( think it was in SL in 2005) for a coach getting its windows put through next to B&Q near Hilton Park.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

I meant the RFL couldn't do much about the 'culprits' who decide to put windows through.......in saying that, I think it is wrong to punish clubs when an incident has happened in the public domain....clubs are already strapped for cash as it is and if weve got to get back to the 'escorting fans back to the motorway' days, then we might as well pack in now. We live in a world where theres one or two idiots around who spoil it for all....its happened in fev, leigh and the rest of the RL community, if we catch them, we can sort them out, if not, we have to get on with it an not let the buggers get us down....one or two of us have had an 'experience' at the old hilton park....but it never stopped me going back....I'm not gonna start tit for tat stuff....poop happens sometimes.
