Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."

Stay Healthy Start Writing : Sat Jul 31, 2021 11:58 am
"Stay Healthy Start Writing" is the title of an article in the July issue of the Forty 20 magazine. It makes readers aware of the importance of keeping mentally fit as well as physically. This is something that not only applies to people as they grow older but also to younger people when they retire from playing the game. My own suggestion to do this is to spend some time each week writing a novel based on your own life and times. This is something that I started to do in 1988 and have enjoyed doing ever since. More details about the six novels that I have written are found on my web site at www.geofflee.net. The novels are all inspired by the old saying about work that "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller" plus having been a rugby league fan for over seventy years starting from when I was at Knowsley Road school in St Helens! I have also written three pages of general advice for any other rugby league fan thinking of writing about his or her life and times. Just E Mail me at wgeofflee@gmail.com and ask for "Geoff's RL Guidelines" and I'll send them. Who knows you may one day become a legend in your own street or an icon in your own cul de sac! And you'll certainly enjoy being an author.
