Bulls at Blackpool : Fri May 26, 2017 9:55 pm
Probably a tougher game than you'd expect given both teams season so far? Chisholm back in fold must be a positive for them, he's played well against us this year.looking forward to fev v London game also. Trying to get a few 1st try scorers bets on but don't think any high street bookies doing the bash? I know Sky bet price our league but am loath to have any online accounts due to ease of spunking cash.Had a 5 er on Dawson for Leigh @10s which doubled and same on BJB @5s again doubled.betfred do good offers on superleague. Anyway back to the game and seems Bulls fans expect a big loss?its generally never that simple with KR though so will swerve betting on us minus 26..

Re: Bulls at Blackpool : Sat May 27, 2017 6:27 am
I've stopped waging on 1st try scorer in Rovers games because of the slow starts and banked a sweet return last week. I'll do the same this week and maybe plump for Bentley?

I arrived in 'pool yesterday afternoon and it soon became obvious there's a very real carnival feel to the Summer Bash, something that is missing from Magic, and for me buries the notion the Bash lacks the lustre of Magic. Whilst walking the mile, it was great to see so many from the RL family wearing their club shirts etc and lapping up the atmosphere in readiness for today's full programme.

Re the game, I can't see past an easy Rovers victory. The Bulls will put up a show of resistance (with the usual spoiling tactics) and even the inclusion of Chisholm, Bentley (who I rate highly) & Moore and the silky skills of Lilley won't plug the gaps out wide which have dogged the Bulls for most of the season.

Tim Sheens is demanding a vastly improved performance and stated the drive towards the Mid8s starts now in earnest, so I'm expecting a marked improvement in completion rates & execution. Rovers by 30-40pts.

I know what you mean about having an online account I was sat bored and ended up doing a double on Tahiti U17s v New Caledonia U17s and a match in the Albanian 2nd division :D

Looking forward to it. Should be a good game.

Here with the family.

Hope its a one year only thing though and to see all the Rovers fans at MW next year.

Heading to Manchester bar now

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Might as well turn this into the Blackpool thread, quite like the look of Ioane (although quota) and Bienek who at nineteen looks a real prospect.

What are we doing here, other than being terrible?

God that was awful, that's as bad as we've been all year. Our kicking game is absolutely dreadful.

Atmosphere sounded good on the wireless, and the commentators had plenty of praise for Bradford's effort.

Bad conditions, but we need to cut down on the sloppy errors before we get to the 8s.

Unless you were there then you can't really appreciate just how bad the conditions were, both teams should be commended for holding on to the ball as well as they both did.
