i have been asked by the steward of batley irish nash (hull k r supporter) to let all hull k r fans know that they will be made very welcome in the nash for drinks before the game against batley or if you wish to stop off on your way to any other away game.

Ive always found the Pink Pussy Club above the off licence very accommodating!

If you're stood in the stand at the top of the slope - behind that stand to your right are the best pies in the whole of Rugby League. Nobody else comes close imo.

I can see you being a gastronome Lord Pickering.

As an aside, why is it so hard for clubs to actually sell decent beer and food?

The Stoop used to have a bar with several real ales on hand pump, add in a decent local farm shop type pork pie and I'd have a pie and pint every week instead of buying a bottle of water now and again.

I'm not saying it should totally take over from what most people want, a few largers but why can't it be added?

I seem to remember the beer and grub been better than avarage when Rovers played at Fulhams Craven Cottage ground. It's maybe a southern thing ?
