Albert Kelly.situation : Sun Oct 02, 2016 10:06 pm
Hey guys very sorry about Saturday the wrong club went down in my opinion. Salford as a club are shot. I'm interested in your thoughts of the banning of Albert Kelly. When Webster was at Wakefield I found the guy a bit cocky and arrogant when speaking to him and kept the same side most weeks even tho they underperformed massively. His man management skills were appauling. Surely in my.opinion the Kelly situation should be dealt with after the potential risk of KRS status. With Kelly happy and.perfoming you guys shouldn't be in that position. Seems.like Websters ego and stubbornes failed.again. Arriving.late after a funeral seems OTT.All the best next season. Hope it's not Wakefield in the game with you lol.

To be fair I don't think it was Websters decision and there's a lot more to it than just arriving back late but he's your problem next season

He wasn't at a funeral, think it was visiting his ill gran or something, there are rumours doing the rounds but also our chairnman stated that this was about more than just coming home late.

I personally think we saw it as an easy way to get rid without a pay off, his attitude has stunk the place out most of the year stemming from his coming into preseason a couple of stone over weight. He has looked disinterested and a shadow of last years player.

As has been said I doubt this had anything to do with Webster, this decision will have come from the top and no doubt being a discussion with Peacock and Hudgell. Was it the right decision, probably, if you stand by and let someone take the pee then you're asking for it.

He'll no doubt move on and have a stormer of a first year and then the cycle will start again.

First off sad to see you go down but your loss could be our gain?

I'd have Albert Kelly at Saints for a season :HAND:

To be fair you thought that about Burns and look how that turned out. Albert has turned out in a similar mold to Jarrod Sammut, the odd flash of brilliance surrounded by a lot of mediocre. We needed a good organiser and Kelly aint that

Hudgell confirmed Kelly was sacked, during tonight's Q&A on Humberside.

There are far more misdemeanours than coming back late. The kid is a tool.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

I'm going to miss him, in fact I've missed him since last season.

Alby was a joy to watch last year, he gave us some real Stanley Gene moments.

Unfortunately, you can't get away with Rodney Marsh type antics now a days, there's been rumours and stories on the terrace's for months.

I hope he can find some peace.
