Got to be happy with that after all the chat about McBanana, surely?

Got to be happy with this, proven coach and NOT dependent on staying in SL. At least we know that plans are being made no matter what.

He's been brilliant at the Reds. At least you will get another go at the 'money spinning' middle 8s next year no matter what

As a Salford fan, he should walk now as his allegiance is obviously with you guys, especially if we meet in the MPG.

Expect a three-year plan, by the way, that's his philosophy, trust in Tim our fickle lot used to vomit, well Tim could be the one to hammer the final nail if we meet in the MPG. Either way, if we fail to even reach the MPG Tim's a winner and it's the death nail for Salford. Trusting in Tim has killed us, I sincerely hope your trust in Tim is more fruitful than ours. Goodluck.

As a Hull FC fan I have to say that its an appointment you can't knock. Sure some people will try to but when compared to McNamara & Terry Matterson or Brian McDermott then Tim Sheens CV is light years ahead.

Nobody can tell if this will work out yet but I think Hull KR have to be applauded for pushing the boat out & giving themselves a real opportunity to push on here. No club in the world wouldn't be dissapointed with the appointment of Sheens if there coaching position became vacant.

I may be one of the few FC fans who want both FC & KR to prosper, FC more obviously! But you now have a real chance.

Its a change in approach from Hull KR, its a stance that says we're not just talking about plans etc, we are now putting something in place to make changes happen & bring success.

WELL DONE TO HULL KR.

An excellent bit of business by Neil and the rest of the board. Especially considering its not linked to SL retention.

It's news like this that settles the nerves across the whole club.

Personally, I hope Webbo becomes his assistant but we'll have to see. I like Webbo, but the good of the club is more important.

An excellent appointment by the club and a real declaration of intent.

Playtime just got serious.

Pleased with this appointment, along with the message it sends about financial commitment from Rob & Hudge.
