I've seen it mentioned on their site and they don't seem happy. Can't say I know a lot about him.

unless you have had permission before may 31st, doubt it yet

as some posted, its a rumour started by a social media fan group, probably just to get more hits

only seen him in one pre-season friendly at doncaster, went well, had a good season in the u19s last season by all accounts

Nobody takes that rule in the least seriously, IMO. It is the rule I hold up as an example of the RFL's fondness for the meaningless and unenforceable. I've noticed it is rarely used by fans when they're own club is rumoured to be in for a player.

That said, I can't see the lad joining us. He's covered by the 'ring-fencing' thing iirc - which is itself pretty meaningless, but Rovers at least seem to be paying lip-service to it.

Plus we're cackamalla at the moment - really, really scarily, might even go down cackamalla. A couple of wins and we'll cheer up, but we're nailed on for the middle 8s now anyway, and currently look to have a decent shot at the million pound game (I think we're just about too good for bottom 3 in the 8s - still feeling bullish in that respect ). Those couple of wins look a fair way off at the moment, too.

And finally, he and James Green are being touted around Australia - there was an advert in the Sydney Daily Mail classifieds, between a second-hand lawnmower for sale and woman who does ironing in Cabramatta. Or something like that.

Had a cracking season in the U19's last year. Looked the real deal in the one game I managed to see and apparently impressed over the whole season. Bags of potential but nowhere near the finished article. Has apparently been touted around the NRL but that's also just a rumour (an older one than the Rovers rumour).
