I was quite impressed with James Greenwood on Friday, thought he ran some good strong lines and looked quite destructive. Took about 4 over with him for his "no try"

With 4 fit props in mulhern, green, dane the train and allgood would it be something worth utilising more often. Him and Blair as our second row pairing would i believe be a good combination.

Some work on defence needed, but i think he is atheltic enough and got a strong enough offload in him to make it work. Would certainly improve our attacking options especially in the oppo 20.

Thoughts?

This suggestion has merits. Greenwood got plaudits on RH for his second row performance last Friday. Rob Chadwick endorsed this on his Hull KR TV match commentary too. He makes good yards and can offload. 2 or 3 more games on that right edge if selected and he will be dynamite for us.

I rate James Greenwood and also Robbie Mulhern. Chris Clarkson and Bobby Blair had shockers on our left edge as they left Mellor to each other time and again, got done for pace and then that channel subsequently got repeatedly targeted by Mellor, Dean and Bridge. It didn't help that Thornley and Shaw looked defensively hesitant and flakey as well. Work needed.

Blair and Greenwood at second row and Clarkson at LF from now on, assuming Campo returns. Horne off the bench.

Surely goerge Lawler should be play 13?

I've said for a while Greenwood would be better in 2nd row than prop, he has good hands and runs some good lines, really think he will develop into a top player.

I think George Lawler will be an automatic shoe in for our match day 17 until he cops an unfortunate injury.

Still think Clarkson will start at 13 with Lawler coming off the bench as replacement back rower or hooker.

I haven't seen much from Clarkson this year. Tackles well, but that's it. Bang average player at best.
