Hello, I am auctioning 3 of my shirts that have been signed by this year's squad. The money raised will go towards Matty Marsh's sponsorship, by Adge and Andy Brown's buses. If there is anything left over, it can go towards next year's player sponsorship as well. There is a £3 postage charge but if the winning bidders wish to collect, I will refund that. All bids start at £5. Sponsorship. I do a few other things for charities but this is for the young player.

Excuse my nativity here, but does the sponsor not pay for the sponsored player? Why would money need raising to sponsor him?

Basically, our buses pay for the sponsorship. We raise money throughout the year and all contributions go to the chosen player we agree to sponsor, up to whatever his sponsorship costs.

Hopefully we will raise over the required amount so we can do it again the year after.
