Don't even consider it. They'll never come again!!!

Try and get them in the Well if you can't them in the East Stand.

The ground is big enough at present (with the exception of one game a season) to allow occasional fans, "walk up" etc. - the current capacity is over 10,000 and Rovers allow any East Stand Passes to be exchanged for the North & South Stand's if supporters want to stand with friends who aren't available to access the East Stand.

Whilst it isn't ideal tickets for the South Stand are available for discounted prices.

To be fair this is the point which KR are missing. KR fans want to go in the East stand and there seems to be a fair bit of demand for it. Surely extending the other side should be up there as these home fans are the bread and butter of your club. The North and South are bad stands for people wanting to come every week ( the north is fine for travelling specs that come once a season)

I think that the East stand extension is the main priority for the very reasons you say.

How would people feel if the club lottery "ringfenced" a proportion of income into funding any further East Stand extension....?

Good idea. As far as I am aware though, the East stand extension is the highest priority and up until some months ago the plan was for it to be carried out at the end of this season.

I do like the idea of lottery funds being allocated to specific projects in general, especially if there is some fan input to the project.

Any news on the new North Stand yet? It's all gone a bit quiet on that front.

And when that happens, is the golf stand moving to the south end?

Rovers desperately need this and I hope they get it as it will be good for RL (and better for me as I hate that South Stand!). The more teams with good quality grounds with 10k crowds the better and Rovers are the most likely to achieve this out of the "nearlies" so good luck to ya.

The second extension to the east stand will get the ground to around a 12,000 capacity, and will allow 10500 without the use of the southern terraces.

The proposed new north stand will not happen in the near future, but the club are still confident it will be built eventually.
