Important civic institutions are professional sports clubs, IMO. Even the ones I don't support myself.

FC and City pay £2m pa to the SMC. A commercial, rather than peppercorn, arrangement. Karl Turner is on record as saying that Hudgell's agitation on this project has been unhelpful at times(East Sard - RL World May edition, article East is East). Why continue to bite the hand that feeds disproportionately

He also acknowledged that it was very natural that Hudgell pursued a Rovers-centric agenda. Hudgell made a point of thanking the council and possibly Brady himself in that article. Disproportionately generous, eh? Even allowing for our truths and yours being different to the point of diametric opposition, that looks like...

Any steel work gone up yet, how long has it been now. This could be ranking alongside that footbridge to knowhere on the river hull that has taken years to get off the ground. Come on lets sort it. lets finally be proud of a building in east hull.

Anyone in the building industry will tell you 2/3 of the job is underneath. Once it starts growing its quick. Believe.

Absolutaly, you only have to look at the St Stephens complex as an example. I was doing some work near to there during its construction, i used to look every day and think to myself, is anything happening on that site as no real visible progress was evident for months, then wham,! it shot up in next to no time and before you knew it the cladding was been put on and windows etc inserted.

I have the clubs permission.
Plus if they didn't want anyone looking in why did they cut 3 2x2 foot squares holes in their white material so folks could look in?
