Seriously if Chester goes who would achieve anything with the side you had on the field today, the spine of your team is out along with your goal kicker, I personally would have thought you needed a couple of mongrel props & a striking back rower & your squad wouldn't have been far away barring injuries, your youth was needed to be strengthened the day you entered super league but has been ignored, we have some cracking youth teams in the town which your scouts never bothered to watch.

Well that was fun wasn't it boys & girls.

When I heard the teams I said that anything less than a convincing win should see CC given the bullet and I stand by that. Despite what others have put about squad strength Chester has stated on numerous occasions that he has the final say on player recruitment. He ultimately put this squad together.

I will cut Jake & MR some slack at this point, as for entirely different reasons I'm gonna assume you didn't witness today's performance. My reasons for now stating that he should go are thus: the coach's primary responsibility is to send a team out with tactics and motivation to do the job. Today neither was in evidence, save the 10 mins Blair spent in the bin. At least 10 didn't give a poop.

He's lost the dressing room and has neither the skill set nor the personality to turn this around. Time to move aside Chris, the job is too big for you.

Rovers are in a dark place and it all seems desperate but get Campo and Lunt back hopefully things will take a turn for the better.

Are we even sure Campese will be back? Mantellato too? Both very serious injuries they've suffered, Lunt can't string a good run of games together either.

IMO were missing Campeses mouth more than anything, we need someone Barking out orders as we don't have anyone doing it.

There's a find in Lawler. Was Rovers best player today.

Goes to show how well we played when a young kid playing out of position got my Mom.

This Chester's squad no one else's. He had the 're source to build it. We recruited ok last year with areas we clearly needed to strengthen this but.......a cluster f#ck occurs.

We have the worst back row pairing in the league. Horne and Clarkson are dire.

Our props are good just lack enough variety. We have no loose forward or full back.

Our tactics are pitiful. The coach has no charisma, control or long term plan.

Salter is another. If he's a superleague centre I'm the pope. Minns shows promise and gets dropped for that bucket carrier.
Sio is our best full back. He nearly won the game in the last 20 mins. He's starved of the ball on the wing....wasted, especially outside f#cking Salter.
A decent coach and we could make 8th. Chester stays and relegation is a possibility.
Campese and Lunt ain't gonna turn this mess around even if they stay fit the rest of the season. Chester is creating carnage and it worsens each week.

The pre season shocked me on how we had not changed.
Despite the gooses opinion our loaned half back and other individuals got us out of messes in the super 8s that and other teams capitulating.
Awful witless side to side nonsense with no game management today.
Chester's interview afterwards tells you all you need to know. Nice bloke never should have been given the job.
Watch the Trent Robinson video on sky.....a proper coach.

Any team with a decent structured play would have beaten the woeful wakey team by 20+. We didn't have any structure or play book. That should be drilled into the team during hours of practice but I don't think we do that.

We had a big lad like sio on the wing, he's great in the air, so we kick to Dixon, who although quick is no giant. We are just dumb with the worst 2nd row in the league. Horne kills the play time and again.

I agree with Stan CC is out of his depth

I was surprised today just how bad you have become, even given your injuries you looked in the main clueless. And listening to that interview Chester has mentally gone, he reminds me just how James Webster sounded with us just prior to his departure fron us last year. You should have beaten that Wakefield side out there today as we hardly created a great deal ourselves but you looked so disjointed it was ridiculous at times. From an outsider looking in you need a change in the coaching department pretty damn quick. From a Wakefield fans point of view i hope Chester stays as that us our best chance of avoiding the wooden spoon.

Is it all down to Chester? The BOD appointed him and Sandercock. If he should never have been given the job surely that's where the fault lies.

Good luck for the season. Smith got your team to dig in. They didn't know what to do for the last ten minutes but we were too dumb to take advantage.
The last tackle play in our own half was special......Horne at first man.......to Salter who runs in 2 arms around the ball....game over.
Tilse went well whilst on the pitch. Lawler works hard but is no hooker/pivot. Probably our best back rower though

Yes they have a part to play. However he took the job and with it the responsibility.
