I think it's worth it really, i give regularly to dovehouse which is my chosen charity, when i go to grounds that go around with a bucket, KC included, i put a couple of quid in for me and a couple for our lass, if i have no change it's a fiver, on this occasion i got my wifes ticket and 2 child swaps so the extra £2 has been wiped anyway. All that needed to be done at kc was charge £21 go around with a bucket (even more for charity) and then fc could have given to charity, and no one would be the wiser. It's the way Fool has gone about it (like the arrogant d1ck he is) that has caused this debate. As i said i think it's worth the £1 as now i will not have any problem with saying "ram it" when they come with the bucket, saved me £4-£5, and i
can still laugh in the knowledge that you all complain about CP yet you still come in your sheep like droves even when we CLEARLY charge you lot £7 more than anyone else, ...hope to see you all at the return game at CP in the zebrugger stand, i can see you all now...

Not me you wont because I refuse, and guess what, some of your fans think that makes me disloyal to my club. Typical double standards from some fans.
As for the bucket collection, I've taken part in a few and I guarantee a bucket collection would not have raised anywhere near £15k
As an example we did a bucket collection for the Prescott foundation at your home game against Wigan last season. The attendance was over 8000 but the amount raised was about £800 IIRC. A good amount but it follows the accepted pattern that bucket collections tend to average out about 1 in 10 people donating £1.
One final thought for the pathetic moaners on here. Hull FC have not claimed to be "donating" the money they have claimed to be "raising" the money. Which is exactly what they have done. Have a word with yourselves.
