People chucking stuff is shameful, and if this is true it is a tragedy.
Whatever the outcome, it is criminal behaviour and needs to be dealt with as such.
I can’t find anything about this lad in the news (possibly with it being a holiday weekend) and when I saw it yesterday on Hullkrfans, the 70% estimate seemed a bit precise in that timeframe. My hope, for his sake, is that it isn’t as bad as people are saying.
Whatever happened yesterday, this sort of thing can happen when people throw bottles. They must know that, so I can only assume they don’t give one.
I assume that glass bottles aren’t sold in the ground, so they were smuggled in. As were flares, apparently. If people can’t be trusted to behave, maybe there need to be more searches. Shame for the many decent fans, but better than people being seriously hurt.
