Depends how you assess a player.

Houghton is an out and out scooter.

K Netherton has a better all round game as a hooker IMO.

You can't have seen much of Houghton then.

Can't help but wonder if you're wearing red and white specs when talking about Yeaman and Briscoe's respective pace too.

Having the likes of Foz, Fitzhenry on our team is a constant reminder of what "genuine pace" is.

Not saying Briscoe is slow, he just hasn't got the pace for the complete package when his physical strength is something that his game should be built around when he's old enough.

Yeaman is in the bracket of the slowest three-quarters in the league.

I hope that's a typo!

Although his strength is obviously his biggest asset, I do believe he isn't far off being a genuine speedster. Maybe not quite fully there at the minute, but to be fair he hasn't had the chance to show it much although when he has, he's always looked like he won't be caught by anyone.

I'm afraid this is bullshit, I don't buy it for a second.

Hi Andy

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

houghton v netherton?
fozzard genuine pace?

hows welham getting on?

have only seen highlights this season so cant give a honest view but if he can make a centre position his own for a super league club he'll have progressed well.

Like the Derby last year along the West stand side, he couldnt get into 5th top gear for all the tackle attempts but still out paced everyone

Vella nearly caught him, despite Briscoe having a good 15-20 meters head start ;)

I wouldn't call Briscoe slow, but a good couple of yards behind the quicker players in the league, such as Fox, Penny, Roberts etc.

Yeaman, I agree isn't quick at all. I remember Goddard tackling him at the KC. His game isn't really based around speed though.

Youre fans were telling us that Vella was the 3rd quickest player in your squad last year, which says it all i think!!

Yeaman put on an extra yard of pace last season, think he'd surprise you in a foot race now.
