Definitely Greenwood. It was imperative that he stayed. I think next year, he will be the most sort after player outside superleague.

What is your point? Are you suggesting Blair and Greenwood are not quality?

No both have qualities, Bobby is his defence and ball playing, be that passing or more often kicking. Greenwood is a talent to be nurtured but not certain if he's a prop or running second row yet.
My point is defences in the championship are not of a superleague standard. A brave, strong running second row will score at ease, but it's about the lines they run. Think Newton & Galea.
Last season Gareth Hock dominated defenders for Leigh, and that's the kind of player we should be looking to sign ( but without his baggage)

You started by talking about quality not quantity which suggested that we have plenty of second rowers but non of quality. I believe we do have sufficient quality at second row for the championship and I gave examples. Arguably the best second row in the division. You now seem grudgingly to acknowledge what I said. However your use of Hock as the type of player we should be signing is unrealistic as he was only playing for Leigh because of his baggage. Without the baggage he would still have been playing for a top Superleague side. He probably would have been pocketing a winners medal with Wigan.

Thread's too long to read, so sorry if this has been covered, but Terry Campese is replacing Simon Woolford as captain/coach of Quenbeyan Blues next year. Woolford is coaching Newcastle reserve grade.
There's also a bit on Tilse in this article.

I don't begrudge you your opinion, after all that's what any debate is built on. But I still maintain that after 25 minutes of Greenwood and Co working an opposition defence, if you can then bring on an impact second row the points will follow. I don't some how see Donaldson, Horne or Clarkson striking fear into the heart of our appornants.
As you acknowledge Hock is still a top player, and in tandem with Patterson last season gave Leigh the edge. This is what we don't have yet. But hopefully there is still time and space in the squad.

Have to agree clarkson is gash imo, Donaldson is a tryer and gives his all but lacks the size,we need to address the backs, I could maybe see one more prop coming in but I doubt any more in the back row
